The Criminal Code prohibits gambling except where a provincial government conducts and manages it. Every province therefore runs, or licenses, its own online gambling — and what is legal for you depends on the province you are in, not on Canada.
Who will not take you
Straight from each casino’s own restricted-regions page or terms. This is the part that decides whether you can actually sign up, and it does not track the law — an operator may refuse a province that licenses gambling, usually because it has not registered there.
The other 10 provinces and territories are named by none of the casinos we track. That means their terms do not single the province out — not that any given operator is registered there.
Which games are approved
A licensed province approves the game as well as the operator, so a casino being live in your province does not mean every slot in its lobby is. Counts are from Hacksaw Gaming’s and Play’n GO’s own game sheets — the only two studios that publish this, and between them the only game-level answer anywhere on this site.
