The sequel to one of Nolimit City's most extreme games, and it keeps the reputation: a 99,999× max win, a volatility of 12 on the studio's own scale ('Insane'), and Fire Frames that split symbols until the ways count explodes.

Why it is on the list

Mental 2 is Nolimit City at full strength. It starts on an odd 3-2-3-2-3 grid with at least 108 ways, and its whole game is about making that grid bigger: Fire Frames split a position's symbol in two, Fire Reels split a whole reel in three, and xHole scatters symbols at two, four or eight times their size. The studio rates its volatility 12, labelled Insane, on its own game sheet.

How it plays

Two Dead Patient symbols reveal a Patient with a random multiplier from ×5 to ×9,999. Three scatters start Bloodletting Spins, where Fire Frames and Fire Reels stay in place; a fourth scatter adds the Dead Multiplier in Surgery Spins; a fifth keeps that multiplier from counting down in ExperiMENTAL Spins.
