How to sign up at a crypto casino
Four decisions made in the first two minutes, three of which you cannot undo.
Signing up takes about two minutes and sets four things you will live with. Most people get three of them wrong by doing it quickly, and only find out weeks later when a withdrawal stalls.
Is it legal where you are? Not whether the casino will take you — those are different questions and they disagree often. Nine of the countries we cover ban online casinos while most operators' terms do not mention them at all, so a sign-up page that lets you through is not permission. Check the law first on our legal map, then check the operator's own restricted list on its page here. If either says no, stop: a balance built where you were never allowed to play is a balance that will not be paid out.
Email or wallet? Most of the 46 casinos we track open an account on an email address and a password. A few are wallet-first — Goated starts at an email or a connected wallet, MetaWin runs on one. Wallet sign-up is faster and gives the operator less about you up front, but it moves the burden: lose the wallet and you lose the account, and there is no password reset for a key you no longer have.
Enter the details that are on your documents. Legal name as spelled on the ID, real date of birth, the address on a recent bill. This is the step that quietly decides how your first withdrawal goes, because 12 of the 46 make verification a condition of playing or withdrawing and the rest reserve the right to ask. Every mismatch between the account and the document is a manual review, and reviews land at the worst moment. One account, in your own name — an operator will not pay a balance to a name that is not on the account.
Decide about the bonus before you deposit, not after. Opting in is usually irreversible for that deposit, and it changes the account's rules rather than just adding money: wagering has to clear before anything can leave, and at some operators it pulls in obligations that were not there before. Bluff needs no verification to withdraw at all — unless you took a bonus, at which point it does. Read the wagering multiplier and what counts toward it first; our bonuses page has every one we hold, each from the operator's own terms.
Then verify, while nothing is at stake. You do not have to wait to be asked. Doing it on a quiet day with good light and a clean copy of your ID costs ten minutes; doing it mid-withdrawal costs however long the queue is, at the one moment you care. The KYC guide covers what each operator asks for and which publish the figure that triggers a check.
