Why the same slot pays differently at two casinos
A slot is not one machine. Most volume studios ship a title in two or three configurations — typically a headline rate and one or two reduced builds — and the operator picks which it licenses. Nothing in the lobby tells you which one you loaded.
The paytable inside the game does. It states the return for the build you are playing, and it is the figure RTP Watch records, per casino, as our field-testing reaches each operator. Where a reading shows a reduced build we name it in that operator's review rather than the studio's.
Two points of return is not a rounding difference. On $10,000 of turnover it is $200 of expected value moved from you to the house, for exactly the same game and the same session length.
