How it works in Ontario
Ontario opened a regulated private igaming market on 4 April 2022: operators register with the AGCO and contract with iGaming Ontario, a subsidiary of the AGCO, to offer casino, poker and sports betting to Ontario players. Other provinces still run online gambling through their lottery corporations.
