Online casinos in District of Columbia: what the law says
Washington, DC allows retail and online sports wagering; online casino gaming is not legal.
No licensed online casino in District of Columbia
District of Columbia's regulator lists online casinos as not legal. DC Office of Lottery and Gaming 'Sports Wagering Approved Licenses', revision dated 30 April 2026, linked from https://dclottery.com/olg/approved-licenses. The five operators above are every licensee whose row is marked 'District Wide / Online/Mobile APP'. Caesars, FanDuel and BetMGM hold Standard Class A Operator licences (tied to Capital One Arena, Audi Field and Nationals Park respectively) that also cover district-wide online/mobile; DraftKings and Fanatics hold Temporary Class C licences. Excluded: S&S U Street, LLC, a Provisional Class B retail licensee limited to Ward 1, and the document's long list of Supplier licensees. Several operator rows show expiration dates already past but annotated '(Extended)' by OLG, and they remain on the April 2026 approved list.
Sports betting is live: the regulator lists 5 online sportsbooks, among them DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel, BetMGM.
