Online casinos in Nebraska: what the law says
Nebraska allows sports betting only at licensed racetrack casinos; online casino gaming is not legal.
No licensed online casino in Nebraska
Nebraska's regulator lists online casinos as not legal. Sports wagering is legal but RETAIL ONLY. The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission's own sports betting page states that wagers must be placed in person at an approved sportsbook window or wagering kiosk within the designated sports-wagering area of a licensed racetrack enclosure, and states explicitly that online and mobile sports wagering are not currently authorized in Nebraska. Mobile wagering requires a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT, which is why LR 20CA was the lead vehicle. Nebraska is unicameral and bills carry over within the two-year biennium; all three measures below were carried over from 2025 into 2026 and then killed together on 2026-04-17. No online casino / iGaming bill was introduced in the 109th Legislature at all, verified against the full list of 43 measures referred to the General Affairs Committee.
