Online casinos in New York: what the law says
New York licenses mobile and retail sports wagering, online casinos are not legal, and Chapter 605 of 2025 prohibits online sweepstakes games.
No licensed online casino in New York
New York's regulator lists online casinos as not legal. New York State Gaming Commission publishes a 'Licensed Operators' list of nine mobile sports wagering operators by consumer brand only; it does not publish the licensed entity name or a casino partner alongside each brand, so no licence holder is shown. The same nine names appear as the per-operator headings on the Commission's weekly/monthly Sports Wagering Financial Reports index at https://www.gaming.ny.gov/state-revenue-reports (theScore Bet's report files are still served under 'wynn-interactive' paths, reflecting the earlier WynnBET brand). Retail-only casino sportsbooks are excluded.
Sports betting is live: the regulator lists 9 online sportsbooks, among them DraftKings, Caesars, FanDuel, BetMGM.
Sweepstakes casinos are banned in New York, so none are listed here. No crypto casino we track accepts US players by its own terms either — 41 of 46 name the United States on their restricted lists.
